A Program to Give you Support

For some affected women, breast cancer can lead to a significant hiatus from work, reduced income and/or unplanned expenses. The Financial Assistance Program of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, supported by the Pharmaprix AIMEZ. VOUS. Fund provides support to those in need who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Based on current criteria and depending on your financial situation, the Foundation may be able to help reimburse several expenses you may incur during treatment and recovery, such as transportation costs, accommodations, childcare, home-based medical or housekeeping assistance.

The Foundation may also be able to cover certain costs related to the purchase of specialized undergarments or breast prothesis. Some expenses (e.g. rent, mortgage, groceries) may also be reimbursed upon evaluation of your financial situation.

 * It is important to know that this program is a temporary assistance fund. The Foundation wants to help as many people as possible within a reasonable time. Amounts given may vary depending on the available budget.
