Fédération du mouvement Albatros du Québec
Update tools and training sessions offered to volunteers working in palliative care.
The Fédération du mouvement Albatros du Québec (FMAQ) is a province-wide group of local organizations run entirely by its volunteer members who are rigorously selected and periodically evaluated. The palliative care movement has grown considerably in Quebec thanks to the contribution of its volunteers. In Quebec, most deaths due to chronic disease, such as breast cancer, are likely to require palliative as well as end of life care. There is a constantly growing need for this type of service. This is why the Foundation is proud to support the FMAQ by making a financial contribution to its activities.
