Dr. Anne Dagnault specialized in the treatment of lung and breast cancer, and cancers of the skin and of the digestive tract. She worked as a radio-oncology expert in the thoracic tumours clinic of the Hôpital Laval, the breast tumours clinic of the Hôpital Saint-Sacrement, and the digestive tumours clinic of the Hôtel-Dieu de Québec. Moreover she was actively involved in treatment using breast, esophageal and bronchial brachytherapy. She contributed to implementing the breast brachytherapy technique at the Hôtel-Dieu de Québec. She devotes part of her time to basic and clinical research.
