To do so, nominate a captain who, when registering for the Pink Tour, will create a team. The other members will then join this team during their own registration.

The captain is also tasked with accepting the new members who want to integrate their team

The Pink Tour

Can I participate in the Pink Tour even if the event’s start date has already passed?

Yes, you may begin whenever you want. You only have to cover 50 km before September 30th.

What does the Pink Tour offer me?

- Once your registration is completed, you will receive a medal through the mail as an award for your achievement. The medals are different depending on the chosen objective: Dynamic (50 km) or Elite.

- You will also receive a bib that you can print so you can identify the person for whom you are taking on the challenge

- We are also offering a table prepared by our kinesiologist Myriam Filion that will allow you to convert your favorite physical activity into kilometers. For example, an hour of yoga = 3 km.

- You can join the private Pink Tour Facebook group on Facebook. This is where you will find all kinds of information on the Pink Tour, as well as contests, and professional health advice!

- And last but not least, you will have the privilege to participate in our great celebration of all the distance we have covered together, on September.

Is the Pink Tour a sporting event or a race?

The Pink Tour is lived daily. It is an invitation to run, walk, swim, cycle or engage in any other physical activity that you like, at your own pace.
The aim is to cumulate kilometers, together, for the cause of breast cancer.

I am registered to the Pink Tour, how can I share my progress?

You can use the “share” Facebook button on your participant profile.

When you registered, you also received a printable PDF bib. Print it, and write the name of the person for whom you undertook the challenge. It can be for yourself, or for a loved one.
Do not hesitate to take pictures of yourself and to share them on social media with the hashtags #vireerose or #pinktour.
Once your objective is achieved, share your pride with the #jelaifait or #ididit.

Why share my progress on social media?

  1. To be eligible to a host of contests

Many contests will be held during the summer, so take pictures of yourself and share them on your social media with the hashtags #vireerose or #pinktour

  1. If you are fundraising, this will help you achieve your objective.

Distance objectives

What are the different registration categories?

You can choose between two categories: Dynamic or Elite

Dynamic: your objective is to cover 50 km

Elite: your objective is to cover 500 km

Kilometers can be accumulated by walking, running, swimming, kayaking, roller-skating, as long as it’s a physical activity. Kilometers covered by car, then, do not count J

You have until September 30th to achieve your objective.

I am worried I will not reach my kilometer objective.

Do not worry, it does not matter much if you cannot make it. The important thing is to get moving! Moreover, some participants will surpass their objective to help you!

The Pink Tour is a collective movement, so everybody helps others and we accumulate kilometers TOGETHER.

The kilometer objective is not high enough, can I do more?

Of course! All the supplementary kilometers you accumulate will help those who cannot complete their objective.

September 30th

What happens on Septemebr 30th?

On September 30, you will be invited to celebrate all the kilometers we will have accumulated together at a festive event featuring a concert, activities for the whole family, a picnic and more!

The event will be held simultaneously in Montreal, Quebec City and Sherbrooke.

I would like to participate in the Pink Tour but I will not be able to make it for the September 30th festivities, is that a problem?

Even though we will be sad not to have you present on September 30th, you are in no way obligated to come. You can simply accomplish your Dynamic or Elite objective.

Where will we meet on September 30th?

We will keep you informed. Know, for now, that 3 cities will be in the Pink Tour spotlight on September 30th: Montreal, Quebec City and Sherbrooke.

Am I required to participate in the Vélo Québec challenges such as the Laurentians or the Eastern Townships challenges?
