This cause speaks to us, as breast cancer unfortunately affects many women: over 6,500 new cases are reported each year. We want to strengthen our involvement and the My Active Health program makes a big difference in the lives of the courageous women facing the disease.

ULTRAMAR AND THE FOUNDATION ARE FIGHTING BREAST CANCER ONE TANK OF GAS AT A TIME.

“We have been fortunate in being able to count on Ultramar since 2005. An extraordinary partner, they raise awareness about the breast cancer cause and provide major financial support via their October campaign. In 2017, this allowed us to implement a new breast cancer kinesiology-oncology program called My Active Health. Accessible across Quebec, the program helps us set standards based on scientific data and encourage physical activity in people with breast cancer or at risk”, says Nathalie Tremblay, President and CEO of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation.

Since 2005, during the month of October, Ultramar has been committed to the cause by donating 1¢ per litre of supreme gasoline sold and $1 per supreme wash to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation. In addition, customers are invited to make donations when paying their bill or in the boxes provided for this purpose at gas stations. Ultramar has donated more than $4,5 million to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to our dear partner, and also to all Quebecers who get involved every year.
