Fun concert in support of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation!

 

Join us on Wednesday, April 4 at the Maison Symphonique de Montréal for a multisensory adventure-themed concert!

 

As of 7:30PM, sit back and enjoy a breathtaking sound and visual experience led by none other than Bernard Voyer, internationally renowned explorer and mountaineer!

 

This unrivalled adventurer and motivational speaker, accompanied by three talented musicians, will retell the fascinating journey that is his life!

 

Musical compositions and improvisation and photo and video imagery will transport you to faraway places during this stunning event!

The Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation presents this magnificent concert in partnership with National Bank as part of an evening of recognition. We will pay homage to the researchers, volunteers and everyone involved in community initiatives.

 

Storyteller

 

Bernard Voyer

Bernard Voyer is a mountaineer, adventurer and speaker. His journey began on the shores of the Saint-Lawrence River and he’s still going strong. He has criss-crossed the globe several times and discovered the purest, coldest, highest, and most inaccessible locations on our planet including the North and South poles and the highest mountains on each of the seven continents.

 

Musicians

 

André Moisan 

Clarinetist and saxophonist with the OSM

Internationally renowned for his mastery of the instrument and impressive musicality, André Moisan has made regular concert and radio appearances as a soloist and chamber player and with the OSM. He is considered to be one of the most brilliant clarinetists of his generation and has collaborated on fifty or so albums of all musical genres in Canada and overseas. 

 

Hélène Lemay 

Trombone and special effects

Hélène Lemay is a jazz trombonist and experienced artistic director who regularly performs in Quebec with a wide range of artists. As founder and President of Productions Tuxedo Swing, she has honed her reputation in producing large-scaled cultural events with the greatest national and international artists.

 

Jimmy Lahaie 

Guitar, arrangement and composition

Jimmy Lahaie’s recent projects include several albums which won a range of GMA Awards Canada prizes. He has collaborated on over sixty albums with various renowned artists that include Michel Legrand and Mario Pelchat.
