Healthy Enterprise certification
In 2020, the Foundation received the Healthy Enterprise first-level certificate. Inspired by the Healthy Enterprise standard’s best practices, this program has three implementation levels. The Healthy Enterprises Group recognizes each level completed to applaud efforts in ensuring employee health and well-being.
We promote a safe and healthy work environment at the Foundation and apply sound management practices, so individuals develop both professionally and personally.

Quality Commitment Seal
In February 2021, the Foundation was awarded the Quality Commitment Seal by the Comité décisionnel du Conseil québécois d’agrément. Engagement Qualité is an evaluation process adapted to the community environment that is similar to the accreditation process for health and social services institutions. The Quality Commitment seal publicly attests to the sound management and quality of practices of a community organization.
In addition to providing the community sector with a rigorous and credible program for recognizing the quality of practices, Quality Commitment aims to
- Engage community cancer organizations in a continuous improvement process
- Reassure decision-makers and professionals about the quality of services offered by community organizations
- Facilitate networking between health care institutions and community organizations
- Increase the recognition, credibility and reputation of community organizations
Hommage bénévolat-Québec Award
On April 9, 2019, the Foundation received one of the Quebec government’s highest honours for voluntary action, the Hommage bénévolat-Québec Award. This award recognizes the Foundation’s development of innovative strategies, guidance and support of volunteers and promotion of their positive impact in our community.
The Foundation cares about the well-being of its volunteers. This is why it selects stimulating tasks based on volunteers’ interests, passions and needs and thus contribute to personal and professional growth. The Foundation guides its volunteers, whether they are spreading word about the cause, organizing and holding events or doing administrative work, to makes sure each is trained and fully included in the team.
