Successful evening for Événements Victoire

The Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation is pleased to announce that the 8th edition of the Événements Victoire has raised $ 155 000 for our cause. Under the initiative of Danielle Simard, president and founder, and her husband Mario Cecchini, also a founder, this annual benefit relied on a variety of artists to bring people together in the hopes of creating a common vision: a world without breast cancer.

This year, the disco era of the 70s was represented on April 8th, where attendees danced the night away in a supercharged evening at Complexe Roméo-V.-Patenaude in Candiac. For the event, the Boogie Wonder Band delivered an incredible performance, with an arrangement of songs fit for the decade.

Seventies décor, gifts, candy and appetizer stations, auctions (silent and live!) complimented the evening, with no detail too small, providing guests with an unforgettable night of fun.

We sincerely wish to acknowledge the exceptional commitment of Danielle Simard and Mario Cecchini, and of course the members of the organization committee and the volunteers. It is thanks to initiatives like these that the Foundation is able to pursue its mission in helping others all over Quebec.

In addition to this evening, Événements Victoire are organizing a Gala de l’humour Victoire to benefit the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, taking place January 26th, 2018 at the Salle Richard-Sauvageau in La Prairie. Touched by the breast cancer cause and initiatives organized by Événements Victoire, Jay Du Temple, the popular comedian of the moment, will be there to make audiences laugh till it hurts. Get your tickets now, by clicking here!
