Moving and Inspirational Involvement!

During a press conference on October 10th, the L’Assomption and Saint-Sulpice policemen in Lanaudière unveiled the Pink Project. The project aims at raising awareness for the fight against breast cancer and supporting citizens affected by the disease.

The local police force has modified four patrol vehicles with pink lettering for the entire month of October: an unseen way of support for the cause in Quebec. Fundraising is also taking place in public areas within the municipality.

This initiative was made possible by the Municipality and the L’Assomption Police Brotherhood. The police department, represented by Mr. Danny Daneault and his colleague Sophie Légaré, has demonstrated its repeated involvement in the community. The Foundation is grateful for their support.
